Second half of my summer

Here’s a little update on what I’ve been doing the last couple of months:

I had a great time in Flims, and I came home injury-free :) In August we had a camp in Landvetter, and it was nice to be back at home. It’s funny how everything looks exactly the same, like you were never gone (didn’t visit the rink for 4 months, no fun without the ice)... I worked with my coach Andrea and in the second half we had a visit from Alexander Vedenin, who we also worked with during our national team camp in May. It was fun and inspiring to work with him again. We also had another national team camp in Landvetter in August, so I didn’t have to travel anywhere which was nice. This time we showed  our new programs for a selection of judges, and it felt really great. It got good response and feedback on what to work on to make it even better. It was also fun to see all the other swedish skaters again after the summer.

After the camp it was back to “normal”, the ordinary season had started and school too. It feels pretty good, a lot of work still to be done but now it’s less than three weeks to my first competition of the season, in Vantaa, Finland. I hope to do really well, but my main focus this season is a little further down the road and I’m not in peak shape yet. I also had a little trouble with my groin the last week, so I had to take it a bit easier then I wanted, but I feel ok now. No big injuries this season!

PS. I do NOT use Facebook! I never had and I never will.
