I just came back from Graz, Austria, and one of the worst competitions in my career.

It felt pretty good going there, I wanted to revenge myself from skate canada the other weekend, and at first I did alright. The practice before the short was ok (it was at 7 in the morning...) but going out on the ice for the short I didn’t have the same energy, I felt a little off, which was a very weird feeling. Well, I managed to pull of a decent short program, with a mistake in the combination where I did a double toe instead of a triple. The judges didn’t seem to enjoy it though, as I got the worst components of the season... I was third after the short.

Going into the long I really wanted to improve and win this competition. Since Canada we’ve rearranged the program a bit to increase the level of difficulty and the flow of the program. Unfortunately none of that showed yesterday... I did the first to elements, but after that it all fell apart and I didn’t have any power in me to correct it. It was just sad. To make it an even better night to remember somebody stole all my money in the dressing room during the show. They were kind enough to leave the wallet and the rest of my things though...

Now I only have a few days to prepare for Merano Cup, but I never gave up before and I wont start now!
